Update on Youth Startup Academy
Since its launch in June 2022, the Youth Startup Academy Uganda project has since commenced in full swing and officially welcomed its first cohort which consists of three (3) stages that are currently concluding.
Stage one (1) Bootcamp had 110 startups selected from over 500 youth-led businesses.
Stage two (2) Bootcamp had 25 enterprises of which 10 shall be selected to progress to stage three which consists of 12 weeks of business incubation that includes investor readiness, global networking opportunities and technical support.
The Youth Startup Academy Uganda project is being implemented under close collaboration between The International Trade Center (ITC), Korea SMEs and Startups Agency (KOSME), Hive Colab and the National Information Technology Authority (NITA-U).
The project will provide comprehensive incubation and facilities to 1,000 young entrepreneurs across Uganda by December 2024.
